E-Pros Expands to Ohio Office

In response to high consumer demand and a great market opportunity, Energy Professionals has opened its first energy broker field office, in Dayton, Ohio. Sales Manager Mike Swindro has relocated from the Florida headquarters to spearhead the operation, bringing with him a couple of key salespeople to jumpstart the effort.

It’s the first “on-the-ground” expansion for Energy Professionals, and Executive Director James Warrick sees it as a leap forward in the company’s evolution.

“This is a very exciting venture for us,” he said. “To have available resources and talented people willing to make this commitment says a lot about our company culture and our dedication to growth. We’re proud of the team we’ve placed in Ohio, and will do everything we can to ensure their success.”

Ohio has long been a leader in the deregulation of natural gas, and energy suppliers have catered to knowledgeable consumers for more than a decade. Recent changes to the rules regarding competitive electricity offers have recharged the marketplace, as businesses actively seek rate reductions through alternate suppliers.

Much of the switching activity is taking place in the territory of Dayton Power and Light, which prompted the move to the western edge of the Buckeye state. The office is located downtown and we’re proud members of the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce, looking forward to serving our new community.

“It’s going to be a great market for us,” Warrick said, “and the experience will certainly help us in the future as we look toward other market-entry opportunities.”
