In today’s article, I want to discuss how to choose an energy supplier and explain a few fundamentals that any business should consider when renewing its energy contract or looking for competitive energy rates.
In states with a deregulated energy market, businesses have the option to choose their energy supplier as opposed to having to buy their energy supply from the local utility.
In deregulated states, the local utility is still responsible for delivering electricity to homes and businesses. They maintain the poles, wires, transformers, and infrastructure that keep power flowing.
